The 2009 Timber Wolf Adventure Race is returning to its rightful place in the Timber Series - the Fall! (For those of you who experienced our last Timber Wolf, this should take care of the blizzard issues)
The race will be held on 26 September 2009 with a 7am Race Start.
It is shaping up to be an 8-10 hour race with an all new course in the beautiful Flambeau River State Forest near Phillips, WI. Racers in teams of two can expect to Canoe, Orienteer, and Mountain Bike through some amazing fall colors. As should be expected in the Timber Series of Adventure Races there are some other surprises we have up our sleeves for you all, we guarantee it to be a fantastic day of racing.
Registration will cost $70 per person, with a 50% discount for students, and will be free for UWSP Adventure Racing Club members. Expect a post soon with registration instructions.
Fees get everyone a Bag-O-SWAG, a race T-shirt, food after the race, and entry into the post race drawings. Canoe rental is also included in the fees, so you don't have to worry about finding your own to race in.
